Atmosphere One respects The Privacy Act and all obligations set out in this Act. We pride ourselves on always conducting our recruitment practice in a professional manner. Personal Information
Atmosphere One collects information which is essential to ascertaining that the applicant meets the job and specification requirements of the position they have applied for. The information we collect includes: name and contact details of the applicant, details of current and past work history, academic details, details of referees, covering letters. We need this information as part of the process of making an objective assessment based on the information provided by you, which enables us to shortlist your application. Personal information will also be collected when: we receive any reference about you; we receive results of inquiries that we might make of your former employers, work colleagues, professional associations or registration body; when we receive the results of any competency or medical test and when we receive performance feedback (whether positive or negative). Also when we receive any complaint from or about you in the workplace and any information about a workplace accident in which you are involved, as well as when we receive any information about any insurance investigation, litigation, registration or professional disciplinary matter, criminal matter, inquest or inquiry in which you are involved and also when you provide us with any additional information about you.
Security
Your information is kept and maintained in a secure IT environment and kept free from unauthorised use, however no IT environment can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, despite taking all reasonable steps to make it so.
Third Parties
We may be required by law to disclose your personal information, where there is a court order or subpoena, or where there are investigations for any alleged unlawful activities or contraventions of the law. In addition, we may sometimes engage third parties (eg other companies or contractors) to perform functions of our behalf, such as accounting, couriers and IT services.
